**Youtube Bot**
Youtube Bot is a private tool that I use to publish edited short-form videos (YouTube Shorts) to my own
YouTube channel. It turns livestream highlights into edited vertical videos and uploads them to my channel,
scheduled for publication.
The app is used only by its owner, on the owner's own YouTube channel. It is not offered to other users.

## Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Youtube Bot ("the app") accesses, uses, stores and shares information,
including information received through the YouTube API Services.
**YouTube API Services.** The app uses YouTube API Services. By using the app you agree to be bound by the
YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google's handling of information is described in
the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
**Information the app accesses.** When the channel owner signs in with Google, the app requests one
permission: `youtube.upload`, which allows it to upload videos to the authorized YouTube channel. The app does
not read, collect or store any other data from Google or YouTube accounts: no viewer data, analytics,
comments, subscriber information, email addresses or contacts.
**How the information is used.** The authorization is used only to upload videos created by the app,
together with their title, description, tags and scheduled publish time, to the channel owner's own channel.
**Storage.** The sign-in token issued by Google is stored only on the channel owner's personal computer, so
the app can upload without signing in each time. It is never sent to any server operated by the app, because
there is none. Videos are deleted from the computer after they are uploaded.
**Sharing.** The app does not sell, share or transfer any information to third parties. Information is sent
only to Google/YouTube, as needed to upload videos.
**Limited Use.** Youtube Bot's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google
API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including
the Limited Use requirements.
**Other data processed.** To find highlights, the app temporarily records publicly available livestreams and
their public chat messages on the owner's computer. This data is processed locally, is not shared, and is
deleted automatically (recordings after processing; chat logs within 7 days).
**Cookies.** The app does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.
**Revoking access and deleting data.** You can revoke the app's access to your Google account at any time at
https://myaccount.google.com/permissions (Google security settings). Revoking access makes the stored token
unusable; deleting the app's token file removes it from the computer. To request deletion of any data related
to the app, contact camdenstrootman@gmail.com; requests are completed within 30 days.
**Changes.** Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
